Combined tour Armenia-Georgia

Day 1 – Arrival/Yerevan City Tour Victory Park, Cascade complex, North Avenue, Opera House, Republic Square, Blue Mosque, Winter Park
Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan. Meet and greet by Best Tour representative. Transfer to the hotel. After start city tour and walk the Cascade Complex. It is a giant stairway made of limestone, which housed one of the most interesting & vast contemporary art collections. Head to the building of Opera house and North Avenue. Head to the Republic square in the heart of Yerevan. Then walk to Blue Mosque dating back to the 18th century. In the evening, enjoy the Winter park. Late in the evening, return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 2 – /Yerevan – Arch of Charents – Geghard Monastery - Garni Temple Symphony of Stones-Lake Sevan– Yerevan
After the breakfast at the hotel start the tour. First stop is near the Arch of Charents from where, the beautiful panoramic view of Ararat valley is opened. After head to Geghard Monastery. The monastery originally named Ayrivank having the meaning, "the Monastery of the Cave” is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the masterpieces of medieval Armenian architecture. Later head to Garni Fortress, which dates to 3rd century BC and to its jewel pagan Temple of Garni, which dates to 1st AD. Near the temple, in a very traditional setting, have a master-class of lavash baking. After this unforgettable cultural experience drive to one of the most well-known and beautiful natural monuments of Armenia, Symphony of Stones, formed as a result of lava flows. Drive to Lake Sevan, also referred to as Pearl of Armenia. Set 1900 m above sea level and covering 1240 sq km, the vast expanse of Sevana Lich (Lake Sevan) is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world. Optionally enjoy a walking tour of Sevan Peninsula and views of Sevanavank and the picturesque lake. After return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 3 – Yerevan – Khor Virap-Areni Winery – Noravank Monastery – Yerevan
After the breakfast at the hotel start the tour to Khor Virap. The monastery Khor Virap stands before the snowcapped flanks of Mount Ararat offering a spectacular view of the mountain, the national symbol of Armenia. It is where Grigor Lusavorich (St. Gregory the Illuminator) was imprisoned for 13 years before curing King Trdat III of a disease, which led to baptism of Armenia into Christianity in 301 AD. Then head to Areni Winery to taste different kinds of Armenian wines. It is among the oldest and most well-established wine facilities in the area, with history of wine-making in the region dating back as far as 6000 years. Continue to Noravank meaning “New Monastery” in Armenian. Beautiful Noravank Monastery was built in the 13th century on the ledge of narrow winding gorge above the Amaghu River, near the city of Yeghegnadzor. The spare lines of the church contrast beautifully with the sharp red rock cliffs, and the dramatic scenery is one of the best reasons to visit Noravank. Return to Yerevan.
Day 4 – /Transfer to the border /Arrival in Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the border.

Day 5 – Gudauri & Kazbegi tour
After breakfast, drive towards Gudauri resort, one of the highest mountainous resorts in Europe, (well developed for skiing in wintertime), undoubtfully charming all 4 seasons with its’ crystal-clear air and mountainous views. On route, take several photo stops at Ananuri Architectural complex, Jinvali water reservoir and Gudauri panoramic view. Kazbegi is a municipality located in the historical gorge of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of Eastern Georgia. It has been inhabited since ancient times. Kazbegi treasures dating back to VI-V century B.C are found here, which is associated with the religious cult of the ancient tribes of the Caucasus. Its beauty distinguishes the nature of Kazbegi. Mountains, cliffs, waterfalls and alpine lakes attract many vacationers, travelers and mountain sports enthusiasts. Many holidays are celebrated here (Atengenoba, Spatangelozoba, Kazbegoba, Gergetoba, etc.), where you will be acquainted with the customs of the gorge and the local cuisine. Kazbegi is also rich in important cultural monuments. Among them, Gergeti Trinity is especially famous. The amazing view of Mkinvartsveri makes the church special and unforgettable. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 6 – Borjomi & Central Park tour
After breakfast head to Borjomi, a hydrothermal health spa resort. This picturesque valley lies at an altitude of 800 m. Borjomi has an international reputation for its geothermal spring mineral water resources. Its accessible location in the beautiful Lesser Caucasus Mountains attracts those who are in search of nature, escape and enlightenment tourism opportunities year- round. Day 7 – Tbilisi City Tour & Departure transfer
Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast enjoy a city of Tbilisi, one of the oldest capital cities in eastern part of Europe. The historical part of the city merging with the modern lifestyle is perfectly represented in old part of the city. Take a walk through the coble-stoned streets, Visit Sulphur baths area, waterfall, bridge of the peace, Sharden Street. Later drive to visit Holy trinity Cathedral, (also known as Sameba), one of the tallest churches in the world. Lunch can be done during city tour with amazing views of downtown. Dinner can be arranged in one of the local restaurants decorated with traditional folk show and live performances. (upon request). Departure transfer to the airport.
