Gangtok 03 Nights / Lachen 01 Night / Lachung 01 Night
Day – 01
Arrival and transfer to Gangtok - Our representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). He will assist in the transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim at 1670 meters / 5480 feet. Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day – 02
Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Full Day). Morning breakfast at hotel. The Lake is nearly 40 kilometers from Gangtok, 50 feet deep, and generally covered in snow most of the year. Nearby is Baba Mandir, a holy site. Return to Gangtok in the evening. Overnight stay at Gangtok (alternate sightseeing will be provided if Tsomgo Lake is closed).
Day – 03
Transfer to Lachen from Gangtok (135 kilometers, 5-6 hours). En route visit Chungthang (96 km from Gangtok). Lunch at Chungthang. Drive to Lachen (35 km). Evening free to explore the village. Overnight stay at Lachen.
Day – 04
Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and transfer to Lachung. Early morning visit to Gurudongmar Lake (55 km, 2.5-3.5 hours drive at 11,800 ft). After visit, return to Lachen, have lunch, then transfer to Lachung (50 km, 2 hours). Evening free to explore. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day – 05
Sightseeing at Yumthang and transfer back to Gangtok. Morning drive to Yumthang situated at 11,800 ft. Known for hot springs and alpine flowers like Rhododendrons. After sightseeing, return to Lachung for lunch, then proceed to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day – 06
Departure from Gangtok to Siliguri / NJP / IXB. Morning breakfast, then transfer (135 km, 4.5-5 hours drive). Forwarding journey.
